The Work

I trained at NIDA, picked up an AACTA and a Logie along the way, and spent a few years pursuing being an Army Reserve Officer Cadet — which, it turns out, teaches you almost as much about commitment as thirteen years of acting does.

What I actually do, underneath all that, is help actors build a process they can trust — on a self-tape at 11pm the night before the biggest callback of their life, backstage before a show, or walking into a casting with nothing but the scene and their instincts. Stage or screen, it doesn't matter — the actors I work with are passionate actors, and the work is the work. I spend as much time on character and audition prep with theatre and musical theatre performers as I do on screen technique, and I like it that way. I love in fact.

I've mentored through NIDA and WAAPA, run masterclasses around the country, and spent enough years on both sides of the casting table to know what actually moves the needle and what's just noise. My aim with every actor I work with is simple: leave more capable, more confident and clearer on your own process than when you arrived — every time.

Below are the ways we can work together, from a single self-tape polish to ongoing craft development. Have a read, and if something feels right, book a FREE 15-MINUTE CALL and we'll figure out where to start.

Self-Tape Session

The one for right now.

Got a tape due and not enough hours to overthink it into the ground? This is the session for that. We break the scene down, ground the performance, and record something clean, confident and genuinely ready to submit — no faffing, no second-guessing yourself, let me be your hype guy and nail your best audition yet.

Ideal for actors prepping a screen or stage audition tape, refining a scene for personal growth, or just wanting another trained eye before hitting send.

The Actor's Working Session

The one for the long game.

Careers aren't built in a single session — they're built in the hundred small decisions in between. How you walk into a room. How you prep a self-tape at 11pm. How you talk to your agent about a note you disagree with. This is ongoing, one-on-one work across stage, screen and the business of being a working actor: auditions, character work, self-tapes, agent meetings, headshots, and the habits that keep you working long after the session ends. I work with theatre and musical theatre performers as much as screen actors — audition prep, character building, the whole process — so however you work, this fits.

Two ways in:

Foundations — 2 sessions a month, for steady, ongoing progress — $180 AUD/month

Momentum — 4 sessions a month, for actors in an active season — $360 AUD/month

Both include a quarterly check-in to reassess where you're at and what's next.

The Actor's Toolkit

The one that builds the foundation.

Six weeks, eight actors, one room. We go back to first principles — text analysis, character work, the kind of process that holds up whether you're doing Chekhov on a stage or a two-line co-star role on tape. This is the program for actors who want to stop reacting to auditions and start building an actual practice. Open to stage and screen actors alike — no prerequisite, just a willingness to do the work.

6 × 3-hour sessions over six weeks · 8 actors max · $350 AUD

The Actor's Intensive

The one for when you fully commit.

For actors auditioning right now, or about to be — self-tape technique, physical and vocal range, and live mock auditions (stage and screen) that put you under real pressure before the real thing does. A performance-focused six weeks for actors who want to walk into their next audition, whatever the medium, and feel ready rather than hopeful.

Best suited to actors with some scene study experience behind them — through The Toolkit or elsewhere.

6 × 3-hour sessions over six weeks · 8 actors max · $450 AUD

Don't Just Take My Word For It

I could tell you the work works. In fact I will, trust me, it does. Or I could point out that the actors who've sat across from me in these sessions have gone on to appear on Netflix, Apple TV+, Stan, Binge and Channel 7, joined the cast of Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals and are now leading some of Australia's most loved musicals and Main Stage theatre productions. So book your FREE CHAT today and let’s raise the curtain on the next chapter of your professional career.
